Birthdays and New Beginnings

What better way to start a new year of life with a new blog?! For all of my friends, I apologize for the long absence from the blog world. I pretty much got engaged and fell off the fact of the earth (I'm pretty sure that is how many single people feel about their friends that get married anyway, but mine was most true in the blog sense.) Even though it has been over two years I didn't really MISS blogging-- I was living life-- but recently I begin to realize that there were things I wanted to share with my friends/family-- and people that weren't just here in my life in a day to day basis that I was missing by not blogging. Facebook is great for the little things, but sometimes it just lacks-- personality.

Anyway, I'm back, and this time I brought one of my best friends to share in this adventure with me. We shall see if this blog will just be me posting about us, or if I can get him to chime in from time to time. It's going to be a random ride, but that's the way we roll. There will be a little of life-- what we are up to now, a lot of commentary, and sometimes the random, fun and touching things we just want to share. Hopefully you won't leave to disappointed. And hopefully I can get back in the habit of posting stuff on a regular basis. When you work on a computer all day the LAST thing you want to do is be on it again when you are home-- but hey, I guess there are also lunch breaks.

So here is to my 27th birthday... and to the birth of a new blog. May it chronicle our lives well. Thanks for joining us on our road trip!
